A couple weekends ago, I spend the morning with the owner of these two. He has 6 more rotting away, plus a Lotus 340R, mint Yugo, Peugeot 205 GTI, and possibly a 205 T16

At first I interpreted that to mean R5 Gordini Turbos, and I was like “ whaddayamean, POSSIBLY a 205T16? That’s like saying his bookshelf has a selection of high school athletics trophies, a mint certificate of attendance for his office bowling night, and possibly an Olympic gold medal! ”
Then I saw the photos and realised they’re “proper” R5 Turbeaux. And now I’m just crying.

I haven’t seen the cars in the back yard, so I’m not sure if he still has.It (he has a heavy accent and I couldn’t understand him).

Where is this guy? is he willing to sell or is he more the “desperate hoarder” that will die along with his cars type of guy?

Nooooo, this is almost on the level of the guy with all the Alpines just sitting in a forrest. Are you planning to go back and take more pictures of the other cars?

Believe me, as soon as he dies, I know of at least 6 people who will be at his door. He’s a nice enough guy, just needs motivation to get em on the road again.
